Public Sector Accreditation Programme

The expanding awareness of Systems Thinking and the Vanguard Method has resulted in growing numbers of public sector organisations choosing to adopt these ideas in the re-design and improvement of their services.

To respond to the growing demand and to give organisations more choices for the way in which they adopt Systems Thinking, Vanguard has designed the Public Sector Accreditation Programme. The purpose is to enable organisations and individuals to access Vanguard's expertise to develop their Systems Thinking skills, knowledge and practice.

Organisations that engage Vanguard experts to apply the Vanguard Method achieve change - better service, lower costs and transformed morale - in three to four months. For many organisations speed of change is not critical; the Accreditation Programme provides access to Vanguard's expertise at a pace that suits their needs.

Accreditation Options

There are three types of accreditation:

Corporate (non-client)
This is for public sector organisations seeking to employ Systems Thinking and the Vanguard Method with minimal support from Vanguard. Corporate (non-client) accreditation gives the organisation access to Vanguard's expertise, enabling them to use the Vanguard Method at a pace of their own choosing.

Corporate (client)
This is for public sector organisations that are employing the Vanguard Method using Vanguard's consulting services. Corporate (client) accreditation gives the organisation access to Vanguard's expertise, enabling them to speed the development of their own peoples' application of the Vanguard Method.

Individual
This is to recognise individuals who are capable of applying the Vanguard Method to a service; an important addition to their C.V. Individual accreditation also gives Systems Thinking practitioners access to Vanguard's expertise to continue their development and application of the practices and principles.
